ABOUT:
Kratu prabhu was born in aristocratic Gujarati Gaudiya Vasihnava family on July 5, 1944. He received bachelor's degree in Engineering in India and his Masters degree in Engineering in St. Louis University, Missouri USA. With first exposure to ISKCON in 1970, he joined ISKCON full-time in 1974 in Toronto. He met HDG Srila Prabhupada in 1976, from whom he received a direct order for sharing Krishna consciousness. He and his wife were initiated by Srila Prabhupada in 1977 in Toronto, Canada. He served at Chicago temple as congregational director then emple president of Vancouver temple 1987-1993. In 1997, he became temple presdient of ISKCON, Delhi. In 2002, he became an ISKCON offocial initiating spiritual master and has been traveling and sharing Krishna consciousness around the world. He also currently oversees Srila Prabhupad Samadhi Mandir in Vrindavan.
