Lord Krishna declares in the Bhagavad Gita (4.11) that as one surrenders unto Him (ye yatha mam prapadyante), He rewards the devotee accordingly (tams tathaiva bhajamy aham). Completer surrender, however, is difficult, and for many, seemingly unattainable. For that reason He later makes some concessions. For instance, in the ninth chapter (9.27) Krishna states "Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform -- do that, O son of Kunti, as an offering to Me."

In other words, we are encouraged to sacrifice the results of our activities (or at least some of them) for Him. Direct engagement in devotional service is not always practical, however. One simple way anyone can engage in devotional service on a regular basis is to make a donation. Such donations are a wonderful way to gain a little extra recognition from the Lord and His devotees, and is often done in commeration of something important to oneself (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc.).

Below we offer a list of festivals and other regular occasions for sponsorship and a space for an otherwise unspecified general donation, which we can now accept online through a secure server. While financial contributions are the most common type of donation, many people donate items (e.g., flowers, foodstuffs, automobiles) and/or time.
