Dear friends and devotees of the Sri Sri Radha Govinda Temple:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On May 15th, 2008, I was appointed by the local GBC representative, Badrinarayan dasa (ISKCON Governing Commissioner), and the Sri Sri Radha Govinda Temple Board as Temple President for ISKCON Denver.

I'm replacing His Grace Naikatma Prabhu, who, along with his wife Jagajannani dasi, moved to Los Angeles, California to be near their daughter.

Naikatma Prabhu and his wife Jagajannani dasi did a wonderful service at ISKCON Denver. During their eight years tenure, they systematically selflessly served the temple - keeping, upgrading and developing ISKCON Denver to its present state.

In many aspects, it will be a major challenge for me to follow in their footsteps. But, by their mercy and the mercy of the devotees, I am trying to follow their example to my full capacity with my heartfelt determination.

I was born in Argentina, where I got in touch with the local branch of ISKCON Buenos Aires in 1982, and I joined as a full time temple devotee in 1986 in London, England. I was initiated by His Holiness Sivarama Swami in 1988. I'm married to Gopa Vallabhi devi dasi, a disciple of His Holiness JayaPataka Swami since 1980, and we have two children, a boy and a girl - Gaura Bhakta, who's 17 years old, and Jaya Radhe, who's almost 9 years old. They were both born in central London, England.

In London, England we served for around 15 years, both at Bhaktivedanta Manor, the temple donated by the ex-Beatle and Sri Krishna devotee, the late George Harrison, and also at the Radha Krishna Temple in Central London.

In the year 2000 we decided to move to ISKCON Miami, Florida, and, from there, almost four years later, we moved to Gainesville, Alachua to be part of the biggest ISKCON devotee community in Florida and America.

I must say that I am really happy and fortunate to be here and to be able to serve Their Lordships. The transcendental forms of Sri Sri Radha Govinda, Sri Jagananatha, Sri Baladeva, Lady Subhadra, and Gaura Nitai are extremely beautiful and merciful. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his beloved Spiritual Master, His Divine Grace Bhaktisiddhanta Swami Prabhupada, are also here to bestow their blessings over our large and devotional community. My family is still in Florida finishing some personal business. Lord Krishna willing, they will join us very soon.

I am very much impressed by the level of commitment and dedication of our congregation. It is an honor and a privilege for me to be able to serve alongside such a sincere and surrendered devotee community. Every day that passes, I meet new, very nice, interesting, intelligent, humble, surrendered, and powerful devotees.

They make a tremendous spiritual impact on me, and they inspire me enormously with their help, support, and encouragement.

My desire and the desire of the Radha Govinda Temple Board is to build a strong and unified management team of devotees to serve and please Lord Sri Krishna and our most magnanimous and exalted Guru, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.
